To join this session students MUST have completed the corresponding 101 unit, OR must be 11+ years old.

These Intensive classes are for dedicated art students who are looking to obtain and expand their creative tool boxes with access to advanced art knowledge and skills. Topics and techniques for these classes will be learnt through use of workbooks, practice and repetition, and will be vital for any student serious about their creative practice.

Students will learn one topic a term, and the topics for the year will include:

TERM 1

Advanced Sketching - essential sketching and shading techniques and knowledge with graphite pencils and other media.

TERM 2

Advanced Colour Theory - where colour comes from, and how to use it effectively with multiple forms of media.

TERM 3

Advanced Landscapes - breaking down composition and perspective to create depth and space using various media.

TERM 4

Advanced Human Figure Drawing - studying the essential steps and proportions for drawing human figures.

Lessons and fees are subject to the NZ school terms and may vary depending on term length and public holidays

Lesson fees include all materials for the term, including a workbook.

Art Intensives Classes for Ages 813's are available:
